There are so many spiritual gurus out there that, whether intentionally or not, are spreading wrong information.
Because there are no official scriptures and a variety o resources that can be found on the internet, it’s hard to filter out which information is true or not.
Yes, new age spirituality is more of a personal journey but that doesn’t mean that you can just do whatever you think is right. The reason for this is that some of these wrong practices can be dangerous.
You might be heading down the wrong path, giving your energy to entities you don’t want to be near you, or giving up your power away.

What Is New Age Spirituality
Outside of the major fundamentalist religions, the New Age Movement comprises a variety of spiritual practices.
It encourages increased spiritual consciousness, listening to our intuitions, and a tranquil connection with others and the environment.
Because this style of spirituality is a very personal journey, there are no scriptures, memberships, or initiations into it.
The New Age movement envisions a world that brings together the deepest understanding of science and religion.
The followers of this movement believed that the new era, or new age, would bring peace to the world.
The believers believed it would provide a look into the future of a new world that would leave negativity behind, allowing everyone to go forward with hope and happiness.
New Age Spirituality Beliefs
Because the New Age Movement lacks a particular book or set of guidelines, new age practices appear to follow suit.
Many people use conventional occult practices such as astrology, yoga, meditation, tarot cards, and crystals.
These methods were and continue to be used to aid personal growth and transformation in this new era in order to raise a person’s level of consciousness.
Holistic practices such as herbal medicines are also being widely used.
The Problem With New Age Spirituality
The problem with New Age spirituality is that it’s becoming toxic and it’s promoting some wrong things.
I think it’s half right and half wrong, and this is why it’s so hard to point out which is which.
There’s a lot of truth mixed in with deceptions or misunderstandings. How can we obviously be able to say concretely which is wrong?
1: Spiritual Bypassing
The first one is something called spiritual bypassing. This is the idea stating that you don’t need to do anything.
It’s been linked to the idea of being a lightworker and that you don’t need to do any work because you’re already doing something on other dimensions.
I don’t agree with that. I think that we came here for very specific reasons. It’s been shown that we heal trauma and insecurities by facing them head-on and doing the uncomfortable work.
Sometimes it’s known as shadow work or shadow integration. We very rarely heal things by doing nothing.
If your house is burning down, you wouldn’t just do nothing and hope it heals itself because if you did that, your whole house would burn down.
What you’d do is go to the source of the fire and extinguish it if you could.
The idea that you can heal trauma by simply ignoring it is very misleading.
I think it’s going to lead a lot of people down the wrong path. The trauma is obviously not really going to be dealt with.
Doing the shadow work or at least moving towards healing it is better than ignoring it and living in a false sense of reality.
You’re pretending it doesn’t exist but all you’re doing is delaying the pain.
There’s a saying known in the business world called ‘eating the frog’, which means that you start your day dealing with the most uncomfortable thing that you have to do.
Everything after that will become easier.
From that point, you’ve already eaten the frog. I know it’s easier said than done, but just go straight to the source and work on it instead of just ignoring it.
It’s a very comfortable and attractive idea that you can focus on your new timeline instead and all the bad parts will suddenly go away.
Unfortunately, that’s not the case. If that was the case, then we would all be living in a spiritual utopia.
2: Focusing On Energy Symbols
One of the most toxic new age practices you should avoid is focusing your energy on symbols without knowing their true meaning.
Symbols are incredibly powerful language and they go back to the dawn of history.
A lot of people are focusing their energies on symbols but they have no idea what they actually mean.
You can research and find that a vast amount of popular symbols that we have in the world today come from satanic, Luciferian occult practices.
Yet, they are worshiped by some religions under the false pretense that they are different symbols when they are actually the same.
They have the same meaning and the same energetic connection as a lot of the other satanic symbols.
The other danger is that you could be giving your energy to an entity or an energy that you don’t understand.
If you’re going to focus on a symbol or have symbols involved in your life in a meaningful way, you need to make sure that you know what they mean.
Truly understand what they mean and where they come from.
You can get drawings with depictions of the moon phases without understanding their history and you’ll give your energy to entities that you don’t to be near you.
Just because it’s trendy in new age spirituality, doesn’t mean it’s good. Always do your own research.
If you knew their history, you probably wouldn’t want to be concentrating your energy on those symbols.
Another eye-opening concept is that subliminal and subconscious programming works better when you don’t know they’re happening.
The same thing is true with symbols.
A lot of these symbols are embedded in popular culture and media because they work better when you don’t know they’re there or when you don’t understand their meanings. So please be aware of that.
3: Transhumanism
The next one could be an entire topic on its own. This is about the concept of merging with artificial intelligence, otherwise known as transhumanism.
This is something that has been planned for a long time by the elite and it has a very dark purpose and meaning behind it.
They essentially want to take our consciousness and merge with them.
It’s gonna be completely controlled, manipulated, and assimilated to sever our connection with God.
I would warn you heavily against this. A lot of people in spirituality, especially authors and influencers, seem to be very close to this agenda.
Basically, the Luciferian agenda and the Luciferian cult want to idolize intellect.
They want you to want to idolize the human mind and they think this can override God or source. We wouldn’t need God or the source.
This happened in the tower of Babel. They tried to build a tower that they thought was going to surpass God. Whether or not that is historically true is beside the point.
The point is they believe that by using our soul and consciousness, they can create a new reality where they are the gods and where intellect rules right.
This goes back to Adam and Eve when Lucifer tried to tempt them with the idea of intellect or knowledge.
It’s not that intellect is bad. I think intellect has its place in this world.
The problem is that they want to make it the God. They want intellect to be the dominant force and the vast population to be subservient to them.
It’s as simple as programming us into doing whatever they want us to do.
So it’s very important to raise your vibrations and strengthen your connection to God, to the source, which we’re all ultimately part of.

The last reason why new age spirituality can be toxic is that there are people with bad agendas. These people want to merge us with AI so they can take our consciousness and manipulate us.
